This is my honest review about this book:would I buy it again ? No, and it felt as a ripoff due to the overcharged price!!! and lack of something useful.I will start with the good:1. There are many Graphs in the book2. The author shows multi time frame analysis using the ichimoku system - this is the reason I bought the item in the first place. Got extremely disappointed. why? (in the bad)3. I loved her candlestick colors so i use it nowTHE BAD:1. first of all if you have no idea what is the ichimoku system - This book is not for you , even if it was free!!! The author gives little to none explanation about the ichimoku system, not one that you could understand how price should react and what to expect in certain areas.2. The multi timeframe analysis is not organised at all. example: the author says: in the weekly we bullish, in the daily we bearish and in the 4H we bullish. and then she looks at a specific zone in the 4H and then says if we go about this level we would look at potential long, and if we look at this level we potential short. so all the "multi TF" is bullshit. I would expect the multi TF to be a sort of filter, but in the end couldn't find this book useful in that aspect.3. You Wont find in the book, a specific set of rules to enter the trade. The author always uses different lines of the ichimoku indicator very hard to implement and understand why she entered specifically there and not elsewhere.4. In the whole book, you will find no more of 3 "entry examples", most of the book she narrate how price moves in the graphs, "analyze the chart" , and then NOT TAKING THE TRADE!!! , back to point 3 - not telling you enter here, exit here, stoploss here.5. The most annoying things that she always change direction of her analysis. Not having a clear idea in mind. Look at page 120 she enter short, and then she somewhat not in the trade... (price reversed) not talking about it and moving to the next example.The review is in comparison to other books and one which i learned a lot of ichimoku:Trading with ichimoku clouds by manesh patelHe clearly explains the In and out of the ichimoku indicator. and showing some back test results and possible trading rules.
So glad I found this book. Not sure why some left bad reviews. The translation might of had an occasional grammar error in translation but who cares. The point of the book is Ichimoku not English class. It was a great book with lots of information. My favorite book so far
A very comprehensive book that teaches layman how to use Ichimoku in trading. Very straightforward and clear!
There are almost as many books on trading as there are systems for trading. And Ichimoku is no different.Having spent many hours studying a variety of methods and having spent (too much) money on courses and “ultimate†solutions, I’d have to say that the money that I spent on this well written and informative book trumps most of the rest.While no book can be said to be an “end all†to other resources, had I read this book sooner, I think that I would have, and could have, saved myself a lot of time, money and trading-losses.The French-English translation falters at times, and some of the charts are mismatched with the text (in the Kindle version); even so, the material is priceless and anyone who takes the writer’s instruction to heart will undoubtedly be able to utilize and, in time, master the art of “one glance†trading.
Really quite a good exposition of Ichimoku from a practical, trader's viewpoint. Ichimoku ties past and present price action in with future indications, and tends to give one a unique perspective not readily available in other charting methods. I have all of this charting method's books which have been published in English, and this is, by far, the best of the lot.
This kindle edition is very poorly put together. Just about all of the charts have been literally cut off at the right side of the page; that is, the right hand side of the chart are missing. For example, when the author refers to points A to D on the chart, these can be seen. However when she goes on to refer to point E onwards, the rest of the chart is simply not there. It is missing entirely. This problem appears through out the kindle edition. Obviously it is difficult to understand what Peloille is explaining when she refers to a particular chart.The translation from French is also poor and should have been more professionally done. Whether this is the author's bad writing style or the translators are bad or just lazy, is anyone's guess. I would not recommend this kindle edition as it is simply inadequate, poorly constructed and edited. The kindle edition looks like a half-hearted attempt by Amazon to make a quick buck from its buyers whom it obviously holds in contempt.
I liked this book but the charts were tiny and a little blurry. I would have preferred better organization of the material.
